Atlantic Beach Wedding | Susan + Mike

♥ Unlikely bar meeting + beach love…

Who knew that your dad and sister could meet the man of your dreams at a bar? Susan’s dad and sister ran into a group celebrating Mike’s 25th birthday party at Atavola in Greenville, NC. They started talking and her family kept telling him he had to meet her.  Well, they went on a date and the rest was history!

The Proposal…
Susan went on a family vacation to the Virgin Islands; where their final destination was the island of St. John. On May 31st (Memorial Day), Mike and Susan ventured out on the island alone and drove around visiting each bay along the way. They rode until they reached the tip of the island where they found Salt Pond Bay, one of the best snorkeling areas in St. John. They started to walk down to the bay, Susan remembers Mike looking nervous and quiet. Mike kept saying; “lets go sit on the sand for a minute and then we can leave.” They reached the sand and sat down, Mike asked Susan to grab something out of the bag. Susan turned toward the bag and as she was turning back around Mike was on one knee with tears in he eyes and asked her to marry him.

“Hello guys!  Well Mike and I loveeeee it!  We could not have asked for better picture quality and thank you so much for capturing some of our most treasured memories of our wedding. Thank you so much!”…Susan + Mike

Susan forwarded the video to me today.  I am speechless…words cannot express the emotions we all felt after watching.  Susan said Mike “balled the whole time”…sooo sweet!  You two are unbelievably awesome!  Susan and Mike were so thrilled as I am sure they shared with you. The quality, the moments you capture (even when no one knows you are around:):):), the scenery just made it so unbelievably beautiful. Thank you…thank you…thank you for capturing the special moments that they can remember forever! PS….C & T….I can tell you two have a very special bond in your relationship.  The love you share is obvious in the way you capture and make the memories for others.”…Valerie, Mother of the Bride

“Susan + Mike, It was such a pleasure capturing your story and getting to know you both. We will never forget the look on Mike’s face as he saw his bride walking down the aisle, it was truly priceless! We wish you the best!”…Chris + Toni

You will not find a videographer with a better quality video than Heart Stone Films. They capture every important memory. They captured moments that I did know I wanted until after viewing the video and now could not image not having on tape. In a 5 minute video they captured the whole wedding weekend perfectly. So not only do you get a video of everything but they piece a quick video so that you can watch a tidbit of the wedding weekend whenever you want without having to watch the whole tape each time. I would trust their judgement on what you will want. They are awesome.
