Charlotte Wedding Film | Sarah Beth + Huy

A Vietnamese/American Celebration

This was an amazing weekend long celebration that blended the Grooms Vietnamese culture with the Brides American culture. The theme was “The Year of the Dragon” as Sarah Beth was born in that year and Huy’s Vietnamese heritage also incorporates the dragon. The weekend began with a traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony on Friday morning and a good ole American BBQ that evening where family and friends shared stories and toasted the bride + groom. The wedding day was full of emotion and excitement, they had a traditional Catholic ceremony and exchanged vows. We then took the couple to a few amazing spots in Charlotte to capture some breathtaking views and moments with the two of them. The Groom wanted shots with his Ferrari and Vespa which was a lot of fun, we knew they were a fun couple but were totally shocked when Sarah Beth volunteered to ride on the vespa in her dress. The reception was an awesome celebration filled with dragon dancers, moving toasts and a huge dance party. The trumpet section of the band led the bride and groom out the door at the end of the night for their getaway. There was a lot of excitement and events in this weekend which made it fun to capture.
