Megan and Spencer had a beautiful garden themed wedding at Fearrington Village with lovely details and touching vows! And those doors…the antique doors were used to symbolize Megan’s dad walking her into her new life with her husband! Let’s not forget about the awesome tandem bike getaway, yes they practiced and pulled it off perfectly! Megan+Spencer’s wedding theme was very simple and focused on texture and especially on their guests. They had brunch food because when they were dating long distance, they always ate brunch in Chicago, which is where they were right before they got engaged.
“We cannot say enough how much we are in love with the film you have put together! What a beautiful representation of the day. We are thrilled to share it will friends and family!”…Megan + Spencer
They met three and a half years ago on her last college spring break, when she ended up in the hospital with a concussion on her birthday in the middle of an ice storm. Spencer was her brother’s housemate and close friend, so when she woke up the next morning, he said hello and offered her tea.
They had been dating long distance for almost four months and would meet up in Chicago to spend time in the city they had grown to love. One weekend, they left their friends (who were newly engaged), and went for a walk in Millennium park, she was oblivious as she asked Spencer to take a picture of her in front of a beautiful flower garden, he first stood and then knelt and pulled out a ring. Her first response was shock as she said ” Are you serious?”.
