Florence, SC Super 8mm + HD Wedding | Natalie + David

Natalie and David both specialize in nineteenth century British literature. Their theme for the wedding became a combination of the Regency and Victorian Periods. Movies like those based on Jane Austen novels, Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, can give you an idea of their style. In short, they aimed for old-fashioned charm by including details like lace and having a plantation for the setting. Their ideal wedding was simple yet sophisticated. “Simple elegance” was their wedding motto. Their focus was on the memories of this day and creating a classic story that they would be able to treasure for a lifetime. They wanted Super 8mm to give an old fashioned feel to the film, and we love Super 8mm! We don’t get to shoot it enough so we had a blast combining both Super 8 and HD. The location for this wedding was beautiful and the perfect fit! The moss trees were amazing and we quickly fell in love with them! We went to the venue the day before the wedding to get location shots and a good feel for the property and it was amazing. The wedding was so sweet, I am a huge fan of nineteenth century British literature as well so this was right up my alley! I felt like I was on the set of a movie at times because of the elegance and beauty of the location. I absolutely loved the poems that David’s son recited in the ceremony. This wedding was about the love these two share for each other and for nineteenth century British literature, the two were perfectly interwoven together to create a classic story straight from a Jane Austen novel and we loved every minute of it!
“Wow!!!! It’s so breathtaking, so poetic, so incredibly beautiful !  We’ve both cried tears of joy while watching it over and over again, and we’re so eager to see the rest once it’s completed. We’ve also already been sending out announcements with the email link to family, friends, and colleagues. We truly can’t thank you enough for your superb work. This is going to be a such a treasure for many years to come. We’re really pleased and would be more than happy to write glowing reviews for you. We can’t even count how many times we’ve enjoyed the highlight film or all of the compliments we’ve gotten about it.”…Natalie + David, Bride + Groom
